GeekByter (hereon referred to as “We”) is dedicated to protecting the information privacy and security of users. We have put policies and rules in place to safeguard any personal user information that we may collect about our customers in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and any other subsequent amendments. To illustrate our resolve to protect user privacy, we have described here the details of how we collect, use, and distribute personal data.

We collect traveler information from travel suppliers, corporate travel departments, and other travel agencies with whom we have a business or legal relationship. The information we collect includes names, contact numbers, and passport information, among others.
We also collect user information that users share with us when they register with us as a customer.

We take the privacy of our customers seriously and only our customers’ personal information to accurately provide the various services requested from us by our customers.
We may retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide smooth services in compliance with our legal obligations. Access to customers’ personal data is strictly limited even to GeekByter’s personnel, with appropriate authorization and a definite business requirement needed to access the data.
We use any user information subject to our data protection laws and duty of confidentiality. We do not process our customer’s personal data in any manner that does not comply with our policies and purposes.
A customer’s personal information can be used for a variety of purposes in a range of ways, including the following:
- To communicate with the customer and carry out all obligations entered into between the customer and us under any contracts.
- To provide the customer with the best possible quality of services, products, and information that they may request from us.
- To notify the customer about any changes to our policies and or services.
- To properly carry out accounting, billing, and other internal business processes.

We do not disclose any customer information to third parties except where and when necessary for fulfilling any purchases, bookings, and/or requests that a customer makes through our customer support team. Any information thus shared will be to the extent of fulfilling all such requests.
We do not sell, share, or trade our customers’ personal information with third parties for any promotional purposes. If and when we engage with a third party to process a data subject’s personal information, the process will be compliant with GDPR and bound by our strict data privacy policies.
Data Security
We have set up relevant security measures to prevent our customers’ personal information from being accidentally accessed, altered, disclosed, lost, or used in any unauthorized way. Our security measures include strict policies, thorough procedures, professional employee training, and physical access control, among other technical features related to data access controls. Employees or third parties may, if necessary for business purposes, process customers’ personal information only after authorization from GeekByter, and such processes will be subject to an oath of confidentiality.
We frequently audit our security policies and review the security features with respect to international standards to further improve our security measures. We also have comprehensive security procedures in place to promptly address any suspected security or data breach. We will notify any appropriate authority and the affected customers if and when we are legally required to do so.
Cookies Policy
Our website uses cookies and other similar technologies to collect relevant information that enables us to analyze and improve our services. You may view and, if necessary, delete such cookies from your browser settings but doing so may limit the website’s functionality and hamper your experience.
Our website may contain certain electronic images known as single-pixel gifs or web beacons. As part of the services offered to you (on fulfillment of your booking request), the information which you give us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”) to our selected vendors. We will take the necessary steps to ensure the right security measures are taken so that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this policy. By submitting the personal data in the booking request, you’re agreeing to the transfer, storing, or processing of this data.
Data Retention
We only retain our customers’ personal information for as long as is necessary to provide the services and fulfill the purposes we have collected such information for. Data may also be retained to satisfy any accounting, legal, or technical requirements.
In select situations, we may anonymize a user’s personal information so that the information can no longer be associated with that user. In such cases, we may use such anonymized information without any further notice to the users. We retain and securely remove any personal information in accordance with the existing laws and regulations.
